Digital Ash in a Digital Urn was one of two Bright Eyes albums released on the same day and it crackles with electronic verve. It's full of broken beats, the 80's hit parade, fractured guitar by Nick from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Jim from My Morning Jacket and alienation. It's an organic sounding electronic pop album that harks back to the days of the glorious experimental days of Brian Eno. This boy can turn his hand to any type of music - greatness is in his grasp.
