In 2006, Melbourne songwriter Laura Jean released her debut album Our Swan Song on CD via local label Unstable Ape. A lush, pastoral folk journey, the album introduced Laura as a powerful new voice in Australian music. The album's first single I'm A Rabbit, I'm A Fox earned triple J high rotation and is still one of her best-loved songs.

In the decade since, Laura has become iconic, renowned for the striking beauty of her music and the strength of her piercing, intimate lyrics. Her albums have been shortlisted for the Australian Music Prize, and nominated for multiple Age Music Victoria Awards. She has recorded with Paul Kelly and The Drones, toured with Adalita, Seeker Lover Keeper, Jenny Hval and Marlon Williams, and performed at the National Gallery Of Victoria, Dark Mofo and Sydney Town Hall.
Over the years, many people have entreated Laura to reissue Our Swan Song on vinyl, so to celebrate its tenth birthday, Laura and Chapter will reissue the album in a signed, hand-numbered, limited edition of 500 copies.
