TRECS003
This will be the first full-length LP released by the label, which was launched in April 2012 (on record store day, no less) with a Damn Terran 7" (TRECS-001), followed closely in August with a River of Snakes 7" (TRECS-002).
The Money for Rope LP (TRECS-003) is a stunning production9 songs that ooze the taste of Melbourne's underground. Recorded and mixed by Steven Schram (The Vasco Era, Devastations, Little Red) the album follows years of intense touring across Australia, various festival appearances, and a run of 4 sneaky 7 inches, which are almost all sold out!
Owners Meg & Clay are stoked to put out the LP, saying today:
'We feel very privileged to release the album; we were blown away when we first heard it, it's such a world-class release. They've certainly come a long way from their 2am generator party set at Boogie festival a few years back! Since starting the store last year we have worked toward pressing and releasing our favourite Melbourne bands-and we really couldn't think of a better full-length to start with
