RED is the first single from the upcoming album PLAYDEAD by Japanese based ska/punk/metal band SiM. The song is also featured as the theme song to the new season of 'Kengan Ashura'. MAH (singer) states "We aimed at creating sounds that reflect the deep respect we have for the heavy music from the early 2000s, like Limp Bizkit and Korn.' 'The sound and groove of RED was already in the making and it was deemed a perfect fit for the anime. It's a great accolade for us, and from what we've seen of the teaser, we believe it's a superb combination.' SiM exploded out of Japan and on to the international scene at the beginning of 2022 when their song 'THE RUMBLING' was featured as the theme song for acclaimed anime ATTACK ON TITAN. Since its release, the song has been streamed more than 300 million times and is the #1 metal song on Spotify for 2022 and spent seven straight weeks on the Billboard Hot Hard Rock songs, peaking at #1.
